Our bodies cry for help

We were struggling

Our hormones were creating chaos in our lives and we weren’t looking for band-aid solutions. We learned that the symptoms we were experiencing were our bodies crying out for help. We were looking for root cause, natural solutions—solutions backed by science and research—solutions that healed our symptoms.

in all honesty

We felt lied to

Whether it was not fully understanding the side effects of our hormonal birth control or the wrong solutions for us being provided, we wanted more information—the good, the bad, the ugly.

That’s why we believe in being fully transparent. From the science behind our ingredients, to the quality of our inputs—if you have questions, we're here for you.

We believe in convenience

Habits are hard

When we landed on this nutritional solution it was in pill form—12 pills to be exact. We consider ourselves regimented, but we still couldn’t maintain that regimen. Our 21st-century lives are busy and we wanted a convenient, enjoyable experience—not a another thing on our to-do list.

We developed our formula into a deliciously drinkable format and packaged it into individual servings—so wherever your busy life takes you, you can take us!

We are dedicated to providing education, community and whole health solutions to women in all phases of their hormonal lifecycle.

Founder & CEO

Monica Grohne

For 17 years of my life I suffered from severe PMS. PMS so bad that I thought I may be bipolar. With the help of leading OBGYNs, nutritionist, psychologist and my own obsessive research I found a whole health solution that provides real relief. I vowed to bring a convenient, efficacious multivitamin to all women suffering from PMS.

I founded Marea on a mission to empower women through education and community. With us, there are no stupid questions and your symptoms are our symptoms.  Welcome to your flow state.

Medical Advisor

Mandy Rother RD, LDN

Mandy is a functional registered dietitian-nutritionist with over 10 years of experience. She was diagnosed with PMDD 15 years ago and her own story has included everything from dark rock bottoms to symptom-free years, along with navigating IBS, PCOS, and depression. Fed up with conventional band-aid solutions she decided to forge her own path. Trial and error early on led her to a path of studying and practicing integrative & functional nutrition. For the longest time she felt broken and at war with her body. When she finally stopped to listen to her body, she started to work WITH her body instead of against it. Over time, she was able to put her metabolic puzzle together for a comprehensive approach to relief. Today, she helps clients do the same.
